On a tour at the State Archives of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region as part of the «Archives for School» campaign

As part of the «Archives for School» campaign, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, second-year students from the Faculty of History and Philology at A.A.Kuleshov Mogilev State University visited the State Archives of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region on October 13, 2025.

During the tour, the students learned about the history of the archive and its main activities. They viewed the exhibitions «Defense of Mogilev», «Partisan Movement», «80th Anniversary of Victory», and «Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War». They also watched the documentary «History of the Great Victory», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

As part of this event, students visited the museum room, which houses exhibits from the Party and Komsomol eras, allowing them to learn about the history of the Party archive and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of that time. A tour of the archive’s storage facility was also given, during which students learned about the composition of the documents stored and their storage conditions.
