Archival industry leaders and staff took part in the national campaign «Give the Forest a New Life!»

Leaders and staff of national archival institutions took part in the voluntary campaign «Give the Forest a New Life!», organized by the Ministry of Forestry. The goal of the campaign is to restore the country’s forest resources.

Participating in the event were the directors of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, A.K.Demyanyuk; the National Historical Archives of Belarus, M.M.Glushakov; the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, A.N.Gonchar; the Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Affairs, A.E.Rybakov; and the deputy directors of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, G.S.Zholnerkevich; the Belarusian Center for Digitalization of Archival Activities, A.A.Poplevka; and the Central Laboratory for Document Preservation of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus, S.I.Mezga, editor-in-chief of the journal «Archives and Records Management», V.V.Adamchik, and employees of national archival institutions.

Organizational support was provided by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

Over 1,000 pine and spruce seedlings were planted in the Stankovskoye forestry of the Minsk forestry enterprise.
