On September 17, 2025, the Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin held a joint lesson for ninth-grade students from Secondary School No.9 in Zhlobin, dedicated to National Unity Day, as part of the Young Archivist pilot project

Archives staff member Irina Nikolaevna Yeliseyeva introduced the students to the history of one of the youngest holidays in sovereign Belarus – National Unity Day.

The lesson included a screening of the documentary film «Reunification», which vividly illustrated the historical atmosphere and importance of national unity in difficult times.

The meeting concluded with an introductory tour of the archives, where the students were able to view archival documents and learn about the specifics of working with historical sources.

The event generated great interest among the students and helped foster a sense of patriotism and respect for the history of their country.
