«Belarus is Strong in Unity!» Remembrance Lessons at the Gomel Region Public Associations Archive

On September 16 and 17, 2025, the State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region held remembrance lessons titled «Belarus is Strong in Unity!» dedicated to National Unity Day.

Students of the Gomel State Culinary College and the Gomel State Automotive and Mechanical College attended screenings of the documentary film «Reunification», produced by the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Documents Archive as part of the Open Film Archive national project.

During the event, students were reminded of the holiday’s historical roots and the events that preceded the fateful date of September 17, 1939, emphasizing its importance and significance in the socio-political life of modern Belarus.

The events concluded with a visit to the archival document exhibition «And Tomorrow Was Victory…» and a tour of the archives.
