The State Archives in Glubokoe held a dialogue meeting «The Day That Changed Everything»

On the eve of National Unity Day, the Zonal State Archives in Glubokoe held a dialogue meeting «The Day That Changed Everything» together with the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Glubokoe District Executive Committee. The meeting brought together representatives of different generations: students of educational institutions, teachers and working youth.

The film «Reunification» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Photographic and Audio Documents was shown to those present. The head of the Department of Use and Publication of Documents of the State Archives, Tatyana Avlasova, presented a selection of articles from the Glubokoe and Plissky District newspapers and spoke about how the press covered the celebration of National Unity Day in different years.

The atmosphere of the meeting was filled with deep respect for the history of our country. The participants of the dialogue actively shared their thoughts on the significance of this day for modern Belarusian society.
