A ceremonial meeting of the staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, dedicated to the anniversary of the formation of the state archival service of Belarus and the City Day

On September 12, 2025, the state archival service of Belarus turned 103 years old. On September 12, 1922, the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the BSSR adopted a resolution «On approval of the Regulation on the Central Archive of Belarus». From this day on, the official countdown of the history of the state archival service of Belarus begins.

Deputy Director of the NIA of Belarus Sergei Ryndin told his colleagues about the main stages of the formation of the state archival service of Belarus.

The second part of the meeting was dedicated to the City Day, which the capital celebrates on September 13, 2025. This year, Minsk turns 958 years old. Deputy Director of the NIA of Belarus Sergei Ryndin spoke about archival documents that shed light on the history of the city of Minsk in the 18th – early 20th centuries.

Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus Natalia Buloichik congratulated her colleagues on the holidays and wished everyone goodness, happiness, well-being, and to our native capital – a peaceful sky and prosperity!
