Belarusian Written Language Day in Lida

The XXXII Belarusian Written Language Day was held in Lida on September 6 and 7. This year, the concept of the holiday included such topics as the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Year of Improvement, and the 500th anniversary of the first publication of the book «Apostle» by Francysk Skaryna. The festive venues of the XXXII Belarusian Written Language Day were deployed on the central streets and squares of Lida and became a real festival of culture and literature. They featured both editions of Belarusian classics and new books published over the past year. Employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Lida» also took an active part in the festive events: they visited the art quarter, the city of master classes, educational institutions, educational and interactive exhibitions of museums and libraries.
