On the thematic excursion «Traces of Time: Streets and Buildings Preserving the History of the City» at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno

On August 19, 2025, a thematic excursion «Traces of Time: Streets and Buildings Preserving the History of the City» was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for students of grade 6 «B» of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.16 named after A. Sukhambaev of Grodno» as part of the «Archives to School» campaign.

The students were given a presentation on the historical development of GrodNo.The children learned the old names of the streets, remembered where old houses have been preserved in the city and who their owners were, examined the architectural features of these buildings, and finally answered the quiz questions on the topic of the excursion.
