Popularity of the BGAMLI exhibition «Every role is the main one» in society

On July 25, 2025, the second group of representatives of the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of the Zavodskoy District of Minsk» visited the exhibition «Every role is the main one», dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of People’s Artist of Belarus Stefania Stanyuta. There were so many people who wanted to see the documents of the famous actress that the BGAMLI employees had to receive this category of visitors twice over the past month. Interest in the exhibition was reinforced by the visitors’ good knowledge of Stanyuta’s repertoire in theater and cinema, as well as personal acquaintance with her by some of those present. A pleasant surprise for the archivists was the story of one of the visitors about visiting the «Belarusian Hutka» club in Stefania Mikhailovna’s apartment. The woman was a participant in that meeting, shared her experiences and memories of the great actress with the archivists and those present, and also promised to bring photographs capturing this event to the archive.
