Employees of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region took part in events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk

On July 19, the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk plunged into the atmosphere of a great holiday – a series of events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the district’s foundation began.

On this day, a new sculptural composition «Symphony in Paints, Stone and Words» was unveiled on Revolyutsionnaya Street, and a cultural event «From Generation to Generation» was held on the central alley of Kirov Street.

The space turned into a living platform for creativity and communication, where everyone could find something to do to their liking. Fascinating master classes were held, helping children and adults create memorable souvenirs with their own hands.

The event was attended by archive employees together with their family members.

The history of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region and the Zheleznodorozhny District of the city is connected with the foundation of the district in 1940. It is on the territory of this district that the main building of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region is located. Happy holiday, beloved district!
