Documents from the funds of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region are exhibited at the exhibition of works by the outstanding avant-garde artist Vera Ermolaeva

The presentation of the exhibition «Vera Ermolaeva. Amazon of the Avant-garde» took place on June 19, 2025 in the Museum of the History of the Vitebsk People’s Art School. For the first time in Belarus, 29 paintings and graphic works of the artist from the collection of the Moscow Art Gallery are presented to the general public.

The exhibition is especially valuable due to the original documents from the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region about Vera Mikhailovna’s work at the Vitebsk People’s Art School. Deputy Director of the Archive Tatyana Vladimirovna Buevich told those present about these and other documents about the artist’s work.
