On the opening of a virtual exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Belselproekt Institute

The Belarusian State Institute for Rural Construction Design «Belselproekt» was established by the Resolution of the Council of People’s Commissars of the BSSR and the Central Committee of the Communist Party (bolsheviks) of Belarus dated June 5, 1945, No.781-a-281.

The Institute was engaged in the development and publication of standard projects for rural and collective farm construction in mass circulation, the development of layout schemes for collective farm villages, standard projects for residential buildings for collective farmers, industrial buildings on collective farms and cultural and household buildings in villages, as well as engineering improvement of rural settlements.

The Institute was one of the largest design organizations in the republic.
