On conducting overview tours by specialists of the zonal state archive in Kobrin as part of the «Archives for School» campaign

From June 3 to 5, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, specialists of the zonal state archive in Kobrin conducted eight overview tours of the archive for students of health camps of secondary schools No.6, 9 in Kobrin, the gymnasium of Kobrin, the Kobrin district center for ecology, tourism and local history and the labor camp of secondary school No.4 in Kobrin.

The children learned about the history of the archive, the main areas of its activities, the composition of the stored funds, the specifics of working with archival documents and got acquainted with the conditions of their storage. They visited the archive storage.

In the reading room, schoolchildren answered questions of a quiz called «Journey into the World of Documents», guessed riddles on archival topics.

The students of the health camps were shown social videos dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and to Victory Day, and the children of the Patriot labor camp were shown the documentary film «History of the Great Victory».
