Exchange of experience and strengthening of professional ties: Seminar on examination of document value was held in the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno

A seminar on the issues of conducting an examination of the value of documents was held in the Zonal State Archives of Molodechno. The event was attended by heads and specialists of district archives from Vileika, Volozhin, Myadel. The participants discussed current issues related to the examination of the value of documents, the correctness of drawing up acts on the allocation of cases with expired storage periods for destruction, the preparation of case inventories, and making changes to the scientific reference apparatus (SRAs). The recommendations received will be used in the practical work of archival institutions.

An interactive program complemented the business part: the guests were presented with the film «History of Victory» (BelGAKFFD), and also given a tour of the archive, showing the storage facilities and the most interesting documents.

The Zonal Archive became not only a platform for exchanging experience, but also for strengthening professional ties between archivists of the region.
