On guard of information security

On May 13, 2025, an information meeting was held at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art, where the head of the department for analysis of practice and methodological support for preliminary investigation of the Investigative Committee for the city of Minsk, Petr Valerievich Mikula, made a report.

The main attention was paid to issues of information security and measures to prevent terrorist activities. During the event, current challenges facing society in the context of rapid technological development and an increase in information volumes were discussed. Petr Valerievich noted the importance of creating a safe information environment and active interaction between government agencies, law enforcement agencies and civil society.

Particular attention was paid to measures of responsibility for the distribution and use of extremist materials on the Internet.

BSAMLI employees actively asked questions and shared their opinions on increasing the level of security in the information space.
