Presentation of the exhibition «I wrote the words myself..». for the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian poet-front-line soldier and translator N.Z.Kislik

On May 8, 2025, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI) hosted the opening of the literary and documentary exhibition «I wrote the words myself..»., dedicated to the life and work of Naum Zinovievich Kislik – a participant in the Great Patriotic War, Belarusian poet-front-line soldier, prose writer, translator, journalist, member of the Writers’ Union of the BSSR, who turns 100 years old on September 26, 2025.

The director of the archive-museum E.A.Makarenko addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech. She emphasized the role of the Belarusian State Archives of Literature and Art in preserving the documentary heritage of literary and artistic figures for future generations as part of the historical and national memory of the Great Patriotic War.

The exhibition was presented by the leading archivist T.A.Anpilova, who spoke about the documents selected for the exhibition «I have written words for myself…» — these are manuscripts of poems, creative works, notebooks with poems, reviews, photographs with friends, correspondence with writers, colleagues from the personal collection of N.Z.Kislik. The presented archival materials testify to the difficult life and creative path of the poet-front-line soldier. The exhibition gives everyone the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of Naum Zinovievich not only as a poet, but also with his activities as a translator, a true master of his craft.

The event was attended by students of the Philological Faculty of the Belarusian State University, poetry lovers and others.
