About the film screening organized by the State Archives of the Brest Region at the Main Department of Justice of the Brest Regional Executive Committee

On May 5, 2025, employees of the State Archives of the Brest Region organized a screening of the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents for employees of the Main Department of Justice of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

Before the screening, the leading archivist of the Department of Use and Publication of Documents Veronika Krishchenko told those present about the grave consequences of the Great Patriotic War, about the struggle of the Belarusian people against the occupiers; she dwelled on the history of the creation of the documentary.

As part of the event, a banner exhibition of archival documents «There was a war… There was a victory!» prepared by the State Archives of the Brest Region was also presented.
