On the eve of Victory Day, employees of the State Archives of the Grodno Region honored the memory of the former director of the archive A.N.Pleshevenya

On May 8, 2025, on the eve of Victory Day, employees of the State Archives of the Grodno Region honored the memory of the former director of the archive Aleksandr Nikitich Pleshevenya (05.08.1923 − 24.03.1993), buried in the cemetery on Kosmonavtov Avenue in GrodNo.A.N.Pleshevenya took part in the Great Patriotic War: from November 1942 to June 1944, he was a partisan of the Zheleznyak detachment of the 64th Chkalov partisan brigade of the Minsk partisan unit. For his participation in the Great Patriotic War, he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class, the medals «For Courage», «For Military Merit», «For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1944» and other awards.
