On holding a film lecture at the State Archives of the Gomel Region

On May 5, 2025, a documentary film «Kazakhstan in the Great Patriotic War» was shown to employees of the State Archives of the Gomel Region. Created by archivists of Kazakhstan, the documentary film tells about the contribution of the Kazakh people to the Great Victory. During the war, the multinational fraternal people of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics fought against a common enemy – fascism. Kazakhstanis can be proud of their national heroes – 96Kazakh soldiers and officers became Heroes of the Soviet Union, almost 97thousand people were awarded orders and medals. Kazakhstan played a huge role in providing the front. Almost all enterprises switched to the production of military products. The victory over Nazi Germany was «one for all» for the fraternal peoples of the Soviet Union. The contribution of each union republic became an integral part of the Great Victory.
