On holding thematic lectures and screening the documentary film «History of the Great Victory» in educational institutions of the Orsha region by employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Orsha»

From April 24 to May 2, 2025, on the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, in state educational institutions «Gymnasium No.1 of Barani», «Secondary School No.18 of Barani», as well as in the assembly halls of secondary schools No.1, 6, 7 of Orsha for students in grades 6-11, the employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Orsha» held thematic lectures with a screening of the documentary film «History of the Great Victory», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

During the screenings, schoolchildren learned about the goals and objectives that the filmmakers set for themselves, and also got acquainted with the main events reflected in the documentary newsreel dedicated to the heroic feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.
