On the excursion within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign at the «State Archives of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» institution

As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the «Archives for School» campaign, on April 24, 2025, students of the Mogilev State Gymnasium-College of Arts named after Evgeny Glebov visited the «State Archives of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» institution.

During the excursion, the children learned about the history of the archive, the main areas of its activities. They got acquainted with the presented exhibitions: «Defense of the City of Mogilev», «Partisan Movement», «80th Anniversary of Victory», «Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War». They watched a documentary «History of the Great Victory», prepared by the «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents».

As part of this event, the children visited the museum room, which contains exhibits from the party and Komsomol times, allowing them to get acquainted with the history of the party archive and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of that time. A sightseeing tour of the archive storage was held, during which the students became familiar with the composition of the stored documents and the mode of their storage.
