On the implementation of the republican campaign «Archives for School» in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

On April 23 and 24, 2025, as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation conducted excursions for students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics of the Belarusian National Technical University.

The students got acquainted with the history of BGANTD, its building, structure, and areas of activity. They also visited the archives, where the head of the department for ensuring the safety and accounting of documents M.A.Mikhailova consistently spoke about the creation of optimal conditions for storing documents and placing them in the repository, compliance with the procedure for issuing cases from repositories, checking the availability and status of cases, ensuring the safety of documents in emergency situations.

At the end of the excursion, the archive staff demonstrated archival documents related to the main aspects of the scientific and technical development of the Republic of Belarus.

As a result of the excursion, the students received new impressions and knowledge that will undoubtedly be useful to them in the future.
