Participation of Republican Archival Institutions in a Patriotic Flash Mob for the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War
On April 22, 2025, employees of the Republican archival institutions took part in a patriotic flash mob dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
The idea of the flash mob is a group performance of the song «Katyusha» by representatives of institutions that are part of the Ministry of Justice.
The song is performed against the backdrop of iconic monuments and memorials dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War.
The participants in the flash mob were employees of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the National Historical Archives of Belarus, the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs, and the Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus.
The archival industry workers sang the immortal song against the backdrop of the sculpture «Farewell» next to the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War. The meaning of the composition echoes the plot of the famous song. The sculpture depicts a loving couple separated by war.
