Meeting with students of School No.20 in Minsk named after G.V.Bulatsky in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

On April 22, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, a meeting with students of School No.20 in Minsk named after G.V.Bulatsky was held in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus.

The head of the department of personal origin funds Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush conducted a tour of the archive, told about its history, composition and features of storing documents, the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities.

As part of the events held by the archive for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a screening of the documentary film «History of the Great Victory» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents was organized for the students, and a presentation of documents about partisans – Heroes of the Soviet Union was also presented.

The students visited the archive of funds of partisan formations. I.V.Dorogush gave a talk on the history of the partisan movement and introduced the personal files of the command staff of partisan detachments and brigades, award sheets, photo albums and other documents.
