Genocide of the Belarusian people according to audiovisual documents from the archival collection of the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Documents Archive

On April 18, 2025, the head of the department for the use of documents and information of the state film, photo, and sound document archive O.M.Dzhenzhera took part in the International scientific and practical conference «History, archives, society». The event was attended by the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «Pskov State University», the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «Russian State University of Justice named after V.M.Lebedev», the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education «Southern Federal University», the Russian State University «Central State Film, Photo, and Sound Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan», and the National Archive of Uzbekistan.

Oksana Mikhailovna presented a report «Genocide of the Belarusian people according to audiovisual documents from the archival collection of the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Documents Archive» in an online format.

In her report, she spoke about the investigations into the facts of genocide of the population of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War.

Today, our countries, Russia and Belarus, sacredly honor the memory of the heroic and tragic events of the past, and attempts to falsify and «rewrite» history are shattered by historical evidence. First of all, they are archival documents.
