Conducting an event within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.1 in Negoreloye»

On April 14, 2025, employees of the Utilization Department – Deputy Head of the Department M.V.Garelik and archivist A.V.Kucher held a lesson with 8th-grade students of Secondary School No.1 in Negoreloye.

The children learned about the work of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents (hereinafter referred to as BGAKFFD), its aspects and directions. The main topic of the meeting was the Chernobyl accident and its reflection in the BGAKFFD funds. The students were introduced to the BGAKFFD funds illustrating the work that was carried out in the Republic of Belarus to overcome the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, including photo chronicles and film documents.
