On the visit of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Mozyr» by students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.8 of Mozyr»

As part of the republican campaign «Archives – to School», on April 11, 2025, the institution «Zonal State Archive in Mozyr» was visited by 6th-grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.8 of Mozyr».

The employees of the archival institution organized a lesson for the children «Ozarichi – our memory and pain», dedicated to the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners of Fascist Concentration Camps, during which the students were shown the documentaries «It is impossible to forget and forgive such things» and «The Court of the People», prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents».

During the excursion to the archive storage facilities, the chief custodian of the funds introduced the children to the history of the archival institution, told them about the composition of the archive documents, including those on the history of the Great Patriotic War.

At the end of the meeting, there was a sightseeing tour of the exhibition «We have no right to forget…», prepared by the employees of the archival institution as part of the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners of Fascist Concentration Camps.
