Employees of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region took part in the requiem concert «Every Third», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory

In the foyer of the Palace of the Republic, where the concert was held, the audience was presented with a number of exhibitions, in the preparation of which archival institutions also took part: the photo exhibition «Fates folded into a triangle», the exhibition «Feats and fates of partisans in documents», the exhibition «Genocide: documents and eyewitnesses testify».

The exhibition «Feats and fates of partisans in documents» is based on the documents of the National Archives of Belarus «Partisans of Belarus». Based on the results of 2022, the project was awarded the Special Prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus to cultural and art figures.

A selection of photographs from the funds of the Belarusian State Archive. The exhibition consists of photographs and 5types of bread made according to wartime recipes. The bread could be tasted. There was a scale with a 125g piece of bread on the table. Next to it was a table with modern products. Such a comparison allowed everyone to once again mentally thank our grandfathers for a peaceful life, for the Victory!

It was also possible to write a triangle letter and send it by mail to relatives and friends. Such an event was organized at the photo exhibition «Fates folded into a triangle». It was a joint project of BELTA and the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
