Members of the military-patriotic club visited the Zonal State Archive in Novogrudok

On April 2, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, students of the educational institution «Novogrudok State College» visited the Zonal State Archive in Novogrudok.

The military-patriotic club «October» of the college is studying the history of the partisan detachment «October» of the Pervomayskaya partisan brigade, which operated during the Great Patriotic War in the territory of the former Baranovichi region. In the archive, the club members got acquainted with the exhibition «Stood and Won», telling about the occupation of Novogrudok by the Nazi invaders, the genocide of the civilian population and the long-awaited liberation. The students also worked with literature on the topic of the research in the reading room of the state archive.
