On the participation of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation in the interactive art exhibition «Keeping the Great Victory in Our Hearts»

From April 2 to July 6, 2025, the Borisov Central District Library named after I.Kh.Kolodeyev will host an interactive art exhibition «Keeping the Great Victory in Our Hearts» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

At the grand opening, the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation presented a banner exhibition dedicated to the history and current state of the BGANTD and the restoration of Minsk after the Great Patriotic War. Visitors to the exhibition can see unique archival documents illustrating the destruction caused to the city during the war and the colossal work of the capital’s residents to restore it.

The exhibition presents creative works of the participants of the open international children’s and youth competition of motivational posters «Preserving the sacred memory of the great fiery years» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and organized within the framework of the regional civil-patriotic project «Let the living remember, let the descendants know». Also on display are paintings by Borisov artists Petr Kozyavin and a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists Viktor Belov from the art collection of the central library, works by Borisov resident Natalya Goncharova from the funds of the Borisov United Museum. An integral part of the exposition are creative works by students of the A.A.Anikeichik Children’s Art School of Borisov and authors from other cities of Belarus who, by the will of fate, ended up in the Borisov region, created based on the works of the literary association «Nathnenne» of the Borisov Central District Library named after I.Kh.Kolodeev, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
