The Zonal State Archive in Krichev participates in a meeting of the district interdepartmental working group on perpetuating the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland

On March 21, 2025, on the eve of the 82nd anniversary of the tragedy that occurred in the village of Khatyn, Logoisk District, a meeting of the district interdepartmental working group on perpetuating the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, victims of wars and genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War was held, in which Victoria Kondratenko, the leading archivist of the Zonal State Archive in Krichev, took part.

The members of the working group gathered at a round table not only to remember the tragedy of Khatyn, but also to discuss how much the events of 82 years ago need to be known today, understanding their deep tragic meaning, remembering and carrying this memory to new generations. The issue of putting memorial signs and burials in order was also considered.
