On the participation of the Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus in the opening of the exhibition «The War Could Not Take Away Only Love» in the Khatyn Memorial Complex

On March 19, 2025, the opening of the exhibition of the architect G.L.Levina «The War Could Not Take Away Only Love» took place in the Khatyn Memorial Complex. The event presented documents from the family fund of the architect G.L.Levina, telling about the creation of the memorial, letters and memoirs of her father, Leonid Mendelevich Levin.

The opening of the exposition was attended by: Director of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents A.N.Gonchar, Associate Professor of the Department of Source Studies of the History Faculty of BSU, PhD in History K.I.Kozak, the management of the Khatyn Memorial Complex, and BSU students.

The Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB) A.K.Demyanyuk spoke about the work of the archive in studying the topics of the Khatyn tragedy and the burned Belarusian villages. He noted that 13 publications on the history of rural settlements destroyed during the Great Patriotic War have already been published. The director of the archive also handed over new publications from NARB to the library of the memorial complex.
