Meeting of the staff of the National Information Agency of Belarus dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus

On March 14, 2025, a meeting of the staff of the NIAB dedicated to the national holiday – the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus was held in the conference hall of the National Historical Archives of Belarus.

As part of the Single Day of Informing the Population for March 2025, the topic «The Constitution of the Republic of Belarus – the legal foundation of the unity and prosperity of the Belarusian people» was considered. Director of the National Information Agency of Belarus Mikhail Glushakov presented the material, which was prepared on the basis of information from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus. Such issues as the history of the preparation and adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus of 1994, the holding of referendums in Belarus as important stages of constitutional development, changes to the Basic Law of Belarus following the results of the fourth referendum (February 27, 2022) were covered.

The employees of the National Information Agency of Belarus were shown the video «The Constitution of My Country». The video is based on film documents stored in the funds of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
