On holding a city clean-up day at the State Archives of the Gomel Region

On March 1, 2025, a city clean-up day was held at the State Archives of the Gomel Region based on the order of the Gomel City Executive Committee – one of the first events in the Year of Improvement.

On the first day of spring, the clean-up day brought together the archive employees to clean up their workplaces and the surrounding area. The employees carried out a general cleaning in the departments and the archive storage, and dusted the cabinets for storing documents.

The adjacent area was cleaned up – trees were trimmed and garbage and last year’s dead wood was cleared.

The money earned from the city clean-up day was transferred to the current account of the administration of the Novobelitsky district of Gomel.

The city clean-up day allows citizens to maintain cleanliness in their area, which makes our city more beautiful.
