Presentation by the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» of a banner exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War «Again, let’s look closer to the past» during the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus

On January 26, 2025, presidential elections were held in Belarus. Citizens actively joined the election campaign already at the stage of early voting. The main election day became a truly big unifying holiday. Buffets were organized for voters, musical performances were prepared. All conditions were created at the polling stations for people to make their choice and get positive emotions.

On the days of voting, at polling stations No.74, 75, 76, 77, located in the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.45 of Mogilev», the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» presented a banner exhibition «Again, let’s look closer to the past». The polling stations are located in the new microdistricts of Sputnik and Sputnik-2, where about 9 thousand voters are registered. Citizens who came to vote were interested in documents and photographs dedicated to the defense, the period of occupation and the liberation of Mogilev from the Nazi invaders.
