On the fifth archival lesson within the framework of the republican campaign «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist» in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno

On January 24, 2025, within the framework of the republican campaign «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist» in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno, in order to familiarize with the historical heritage of our country, the fifth archival lesson «Silent Witnesses of Centuries-Old History» was held for students of the 10th «A» class of the legal focus «Young Prosecutor» of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.28 named after V.D.Sokolovsky, Grodno». The lesson was held in the form of a quiz lesson on the architectural monuments of GrodNo.Using the example of the archival document «Brief Historical Essay on the Orthodox St. Sophia Cathedral in Grodno», students got acquainted with a now non-existent architectural monument.
