The Central Laboratory with Decent Results Enters the Five-Year Quality Period

On January 17, 2025, a meeting of the workforce was held at the state institution «Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus», which was attended by Anna Vladimirovna Kochetkova, Deputy Head of the Department of Records Management, Formation and Ensuring the Preservation of the National Archival Fund of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.

The director of the laboratory Vladimir Leonidovich Klyuiko made a report in which he summed up the successful implementation of target and planned indicators in all areas of the institution’s activities for the reporting period. He also outlined the key tasks for 2025, paying special attention to priority issues – high-quality performance of their job responsibilities, personal responsibility for the results of their work, and continuous improvement of theirprofessional skills.

The heads of departments E.N.Kokhanova, V.I.Kulak, I.V.Patekina, as well as the chief engineer V.A.Vitushko took an active part in the discussion of the report. The leitmotif of the speeches was the theme of responsible and high-quality performance of duties by each employee at their workplace.

Anna Vladimirovna Kochetkova highly appreciated the results of the laboratory’s work in 2024, emphasizing the need to maintain high quality standards in the current year. Separately, the successes in strengthening the material and technical base of the laboratory were noted. She called on the team to continue fruitful activities aimed at achieving new professional heights and presented the Gratitude of the Department to the head of the Department of Restoration and Conservation of Documents Patekina I.V. for many years of conscientious work and significant personal contribution to the restoration of damaged documents of the National Archival Fund.

At the end of the meeting, V.L.Klyuiko expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their contribution to the implementation of state policy in the field of preserving documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus and for outstanding achievements in their work in 2024. He presented certificates of inclusion on the Laboratory Honor Board to the head of the biological control and binding department E.N.Kokhanova, the head of the document digitization and microfilming department V.I.Kulak, archivists-restorers R.S.Gigel and T.V.Stankevich, as well as archivist N.B.Gorbachevskaya.
