About the meeting of the staff of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents with the Chairman of the Minsk regional Organization of the Belarusian Professional Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions V.N. Filimonov

On January 14, 2025, the BGACFFD staff met with Vladimir Nikolaevich Filimonov, chairman of the Minsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Professional Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions.

During the meeting, issues related to the structure and size of the trade union organization, as well as issues related to trade union activities, such as organizing mass sports events, tourist and sightseeing work, and improving the health of trade union members in trade union sanatoriums and during weekend tours, were discussed.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the issue of the upcoming electoral campaign in the country.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman of the Minsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Professional Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions V.N. Filimonov was presented with a souvenir book «Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents. 80 years of history». Then, the director of the archive, A.N.Gonchar, and the chairman of the trade union committee, E.I.Tretyak, introduced V.N.Filimonov discussed the work of the archive aimed at preserving the audiovisual heritage of the Republic of Belarus, and also discussed issues of cooperation between the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents and the Belarusian Professional Union of Employees of state and Other Institutions.
