New Year’s exhibition at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus
On the eve of the most magical holiday of our country, a documentary exhibition prepared by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus opened at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.
The exhibition shows how the New Year was celebrated in different years: New Year’s greetings from the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR M.I. Kalinin in 1943; landscapes of a partisan camp in the distant 1944; events in preparation for the First Winter Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR in December 1962; theater premieres and performances for children during the winter holidays; selections of newspapers covering the participation of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko in charitable New Year’s celebrations.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to take a festive journey through time.
