On the participation of the Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus in a meeting of the Commission for Scientific and Methodological Support of Historical Policy of the Republican Council for Historical Policy under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus

On December 23, 2024, a meeting of the Commission for Scientific and Methodological Support of Historical Policy of the Republican Council for Historical Policy under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus A.I.Ivanets. Members of Parliament, representatives of higher and secondary education institutions, historians and others took part in the work of the commission.

A number of issues were considered at the meeting of the commission, as well as the results of work in the current year were summed up and tasks for 2025 were set. Member of the commission, Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus A.K.Demyanyuk in his speech informed the participants of the event about the publications of the archive in the anniversary year and noted that they can become, and many are already being used, as additional material for teaching history in educational institutions. Also, A.K.Demyanyuk handed over to A.I.Ivanets new archive publications aimed at a youth audience.
