A career guidance event was held at the Zonal State Archive in Rechitsa

On December 17, 2024, as part of career guidance at the Zonal State Archive in Rechitsa, a practical lesson was held for students of Secondary School No. 11 in Rechitsa. They came to the archive already informed about what a state archive is and what archivists do. Therefore, the young guests listened and watched with interest how files are stitched, documents are repaired and digitized, and the work of the reading room is carried out.

During the meeting, the students were informed about what is necessary to obtain the profession of an archivist, and about the history departments of the educational institutions where they study for it. Following the lesson, the schoolchildren received booklets as a gift with information about the history department of the Belarusian State University and the specialties related to the work of an archivist that they study there.
