On the visit to the exhibition «Chronicle of memorable days. Into the annals of Victory» by employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

On October 25, 2024, the archive employees visited the exhibition complex «Chronicle of memorable days. Into the annals of Victory», located in the Mogilev Regional Library named after V.I.Lenin. The exhibition is dedicated to perpetuating the memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the feat of the people who made the greatest contribution to the Victory over fascism. In our country, which lost every third inhabitant in 1941-1945, the memory of those who died in the struggle for freedom and independence of the Motherland is preserved throughout the post-war years. For the Belarusian people, it is sacred. A careful attitude towards it has become part of the national idea. This is evidenced by thousands of obelisks, monuments and memorial complexes in different parts of Belarus. They are included in military-historical routes and excursions, but most importantly, they are a sacred place of honoring the dead, an eternal reminder of how priceless peace is…
