A solemn event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the State Archive of the Grodno Region
On October 18, 2024, a solemn event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the archive took place in the State Archive of the Grodno Region. The meeting was attended by employees of the archive and honored workers of the archive industry.
On the anniversary date, the staff of the archive was congratulated by the deputy head of the main department of justice of the Grodno regional executive committee O.T.Rudaya, the head of the department for archives, registry office and other legal issues of the main department of justice of the Grodno regional executive committee A.Yu.Zabolotnaya, director of the archive S.I.Miklasevich. The directors of the archives of the Grodno region S.G.Svirko, A.S.Zabelinskaya, and L.N.Gorbach also offered congratulations to the archive.
In connection with the significant date, certificates and letters of thanks were ceremoniously presented to a number of specialists of the archival institution. Veterans of the archival industry received separate words of gratitude and commemorative gifts. Archive staff visited those who could not attend the event individually.
During the event, the staff and guests of the archive were presented with the Book of Honor, established to preserve the memory of archivists who made a significant contribution to the development of the archival industry, as well as an album «Archivists – participants of the Great Patriotic War».
