«Archives for School»: a tour for students of the educational institution «Mogilev State University named after A.A. Kuleshov»

As part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» was visited by 2nd-year students of the Faculty of History and Philology of the educational institution «Mogilev State University named after A.A. Kuleshov».

The students got acquainted with the composition of the documentary complex of the archive, the principles and methods of searching for archival documents. Then a banner exhibition «Again, let’s look closer to the past» was presented, dedicated to the defense, the period of occupation and the liberation of Mogilev from the Nazi invaders. The archival documents and photographs presented at the exhibition aroused the interest of history students.

The guests also visited the laboratory for digitizing archival documents. And then they went on a sightseeing tour of the archive storage facility.
