On the excursion for students at the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

In the year of quality and as part of the «Archives-school» action, on October 8, 2024, the «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» institution was visited by students of the 2nd year of the Faculty of History and Philology of the «Mogilev State University named after A.A.Kuleshov».

During the excursion, the students learned about the history of the archive, the main areas of its activities, the work of the use department, the archive funds and the specifics of working with them, the conditions for storing documents, and the equipment of archival storage facilities.

They also got acquainted with the presented exhibitions: «Defense of the City of Mogilev», «Partisan Movement», «80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the City of Mogilev», «Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War».

Documentary films were watched: «Liberation of the City of Mogilev», «Reunification».

And also as part of this event, a sightseeing tour of the archive storage facility was held for visitors.
