On September 26, 2024, in order to practice actions in emergency situations and prevent deaths from them, the «Single Safety Day» campaign was held in the state institution «Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus».

As part of the campaign, a training session was held in the laboratory on the evacuation of employees in case of a fire using fire alarm systems and warning people about a fire. During the training, the laboratory staff practiced practical skills in extinguishing a fire and providing first aid before the arrival of specialists to eliminate emergency situations.

In conclusion, the laboratory staff were familiarized with the main measures to ensure the safety of people when a fire is detected and early notification of a fire that has started. During the discussion of the watched videos, examples of situations that entailed adverse consequences were studied, and sequences of actions determined in various emergency situations were considered, aimed at forming competent behavior and providing first aid when they occur.
