BGAMLI visited the Third Minsk International Circus Arts Festival
On September 20, 2024, the director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art E.A.Makarenko and the leading archivist of the Department of Archives of Organizations and Formation of the NAF N.P.Prin’ko visited the Third Minsk International Circus Arts Festival, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the 65th anniversary of the Belarusian State Circus.
On the capital’s arena, artists from 17 countries of the world – Australia, Azerbaijan, Argentina, Belarus, Hungary, Vietnam, Georgia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Portugal, Russia, Uzbekistan, France and Ethiopia – performed with bright and complex numbers in all circus genres – from acrobatics and juggling to training and clowning.
Well-known producers, directors and directors in this field were invited to the jury. Among them are the general director, artistic director of the Moscow Nikulin Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard Maxim Nikulin, the president of the International Festival of Circus Arts in Saint-Paul-les-Dax Bruno Laloy, the director of the Kazan State Circus Elmira Bulatova and many others.
The opening of the festival was attended by the deputy chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee A.V.Strigelsky, who conveyed the welcoming address of the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee V.E.Kukharev.
