On the visit to the exhibition «Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War» by employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»
On September 19, 2024, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» visited the thematic exhibition «Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War» in the Mogilev Regional Library named after V.I. Lenin.
The exhibition presents books from the funds of the regional library and materials from the funds of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region», which reveal the essence and content of various forms of genocide used by the fascist invaders on the territory of Belarus: punitive operations, burned villages, Nazi death camps, concentration camps for prisoners of war.
Of particular interest are the books of the series: «Belarus. Tragedy and Truth of Memory», «Without Statute of Limitations», «Partisan Archive», «Belarus Remembers: in the Name of Life and Name», «Children of War», «Right to Memory!», containing numerous previously unknown facts of the mass extermination of the civilian population of Belarus by Nazi criminals, the memories of residents who survived the burning of Belarusian villages.
