On the events held on National Unity Day in the State Archives of the Brest Region
On September 17, on National Unity Day, a staff meeting was held in the State Archives of the Brest Region. The director of the archive, A.G. Karapuzova, addressed the staff with congratulations, after which the documentary film «Reunification» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents was shown.
An exhibition of documents dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the reunification of Western Belarus and the BSSR has been prepared for the holiday, which presents documents and photographs reflecting the first events of the Soviet government in the western regions of Belarus reunited with the BSSR. The exhibition is on display in the archive building at 8 Engels Street.
The first visitors to the exhibition were 9th-grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 14 named after E.M. Fomin in Brest».
