Ceremonial meeting of the staff of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» with a screening of the film «Reunification»

On September 17, a ceremonial meeting of the archive workers was held at the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region», which was dedicated to the Day of National Unity.

As part of the Unified Information Day, the head of the department Alexander Konoplitsky gave a report on the topic «We are together forever. On the 85th anniversary of the reunification of Western Belarus with the BSSR».

In conclusion, the archive workers were shown the documentary film «Reunification», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

The film «Reunification of Belarus» is dedicated to the reunification of Western Belarus with the BSSR as a result of the Red Army’s campaign. The film tells about the defeat of the Polish troops by units of the Red Army, the first transformations in the liberated territory.
